Thank you for your interest in KJE Associates, Inc.
In the summer of 1972, I completed my college studies and began my engineering career. I was employed as a member of the Plant Engineering Department of a modest-sized manufacturer, my duties including maintaining and upgrading the factory's material handling systems. In 1974 I went to work for a Fortune 500 glass container manufacturer. With this company, I was part of a team responsible for design, installation, and implementation of various container and package handling systems, as well as load-building systems. Over the next twelve years I would gain experience in the design, use and management of various material handling systems working for two additional companies, one mid-sized company as well as another Fortune 500 corporation.
In April of 1986, I decided
that I would apply the knowledge and experience I had accumulated to endeavors
more entrepreneurial. KJE Associates, Inc. is the product of that decision.
As a seedling company, KJE Associates provided engineering services to
end-users of material handling equipment, Plant Engineers, Maintenance
Supervisors, etc. In the early years, customers came to me and my small
staff with operational needs, and we assisted these customers in determining
their material handling requirements. We would eventually achieve many
successes in aiding our customers with the selection and implementation
of material handling systems and equipment.
Over time, several customers would request that KJE Associates locate sources of new or improved equipment. In 1988, we began to explore the profitability of designing and building our own brand of material handling equipment. Throughout the 1990's, we succeeded in developing a line of products based upon the expressed needs of our customers. The product line which we detail in our Online Product Guide is the most recently updated report on our progress toward this goal, one which we present to you with pride and with confidence. As a company, we are continuously eager for new opportunities to innovate or to improve existing technology based upon the expressed needs of our ever-growing customer base.
KJE Associates employs a core staff of experienced and talented engineers and technicians. We are fortunate to have people who have done extensive work in various areas of factory production, design and maintenance. These diverse backgrounds serve to enhance our overall capabilities and ensure that our equipment will, time and again, be of top quality. Every item is tested rigorously before leaving our facility.
Continued growth is an objective we plan to achieve through customer satisfaction and confidence in KJE Associates' brand of material handling equipment. We will continue to listen to our customers and to provide quality products and solutions, as well as customer service, which exceed their expectations.
