This unit, The Mutt, is an inspection winder with slitting capability. It is designed to allow an operator to inspect the web and perform any splicing operations necessary from the workstation. The unit can be adapted for score, shear, or razor slitting, and it can be supplied with a center driven, single, or multi position winding station. The Mutt is fully cantilevered and is supplied with tension control and edge guiding.
