The Web Accumulator at the right was designed as a double pass unit with a dual set of idlers mounted vertically and placed in both the accumulation carriage and fixed rolls placed at the base. This allows the festooned web to pass forward through outer set of rolls and then the web reverses direction returns nested within the first set and carried by a inner set of rolls back to the entry end of the accumulator.

The Web Accumulator at the left was designed as a single pass self threading unit with an integral driven pull roll. The self threading arrangement allows the operator to simply pull the web straight thru the roll sets without having to pass the web up and down hand over hand. The accumulation carriage uses pneumatic operation to counter balance the carriage and load the web. The machine can be supplied with either simple limits or a potentiometer to indicate full and empty conditions. If a potentiometer is used then the accumulator can also be used as a web tension dancer.

The Web Accumulator at the right was designed as a narrow web single pass self threading unit with a web clamp to prevent the web from slipping back thru the accumulator. The self threading arrangement allows the operator to simply pull the web straight thru the roll sets without having to pass the web up and down hand over hand. The accumulation carriage uses both pneumatic operation and a mechanical counter weight to counter balance the carriage and load the web.
