Economy Turret Unwind

The above shafted turret unwind designed to economically unwind kraft paper into an industrial paper creper on a continuous basis. A basic but fully functional bump splice roll and flying knife is shown for on the fly roll to roll transfer.

These winders are designed for both manual and continuous center unwinding of paper, films. textiles, and nonwoven webs. Each winding position includes a pneumatic brake, ultrasonic sensor used for open loop tension control, self closing safety chucks and an air expanding shaft to support the product roll.
