Shafted Turret Winders

The above shafted turret winder was designed to continuously wind a 128" wide automotive air bag material in conjunction with a festoon accumulator.

US Webcon offers a complete line of Shafted Turret Center Winders to meet your production needs with numerous features and options to fit your specific requirements. These winders are designed for both manual and continuous center winding (change over section not shown) of paper, films. textiles, and nonwoven webs. Each winding position is driven by a vector duty AC motor and helical bevel gearcase thru a turret shaft mounted dual bearing housing. Product rolls are mounted on air expanding shafts placed in self-closing safety chucks.
